Over The Top Airport Security Requirements

So, like the guy in the cartoon, I’m all for keeping things safe, but can someone please explain the logic behind not allowing any facial cream over 100ml on the plane, while at the same time anyone can bring a laptop, or any other high tech equipment, on the plane without concern? Seriously, I for one can’t recall ever watching an action movie where a bomb was set off by toiletries!

The Famous 'Commodore 64'

The Famous 'Commodore 64' A legend of its time.

Does anyone remember owning a Commodore 64? This was the first computer I ever owned, and when it came out it was, without a doubt, the coolest computer; you could even play games using cassettes! The thing is, it’s a little outdated these days; however, it does seem some business owners still have a Commodore 64 at home and are in the habit of trying to create their company websites on them.

Note to all business owners: If your website looks like it was designed and created on a Commodore 64, it’s time to get a new website!

‘Plank In The Eye’ Syndrome

Plank In The Eye’ Syndrome

Strange how easy it is to make a passing remark about someone, whether it be a personality trait or a perceived weakness in their character, only to be oblivious to the fact we have the same or similar challenges. I guess this is what Jesus would have called the ‘plank in the eye’ syndrome. Truthfully, I never called anyone ‘four eyes’ in my life, and I’m thankful I didn’t, because these days I also have to wear glasses; however, it did get me thinking. I wonder how often in life we think badly about someone for something, only to experience the same situation in our own lives somewhere down the track?

Anyway, thankfully, since I’ve started wearing glasses nobody has called me ‘four eyes’ either. (Feel free to be the first in the comments section :-) )

Welcome To My New Website!

OK, so welcome to my new website, new cartoon series and a new platform to share my thoughts and ideas. As most of you reading this probably already know (unless you randomly found this site on your own, which, considering this is my first post, is quite impressive. Good on ya) I am the cartoonist and writer behind ‘searching for grace‘ a comic about a crazy charismatic church with a church-growth obsessed pastor and other funny characters.

While Searching for grace is my place to write and comment on spiritual topics, Logic & Laughter is going to be a avenue for me to share more on creativity. I plan on interviewing different creative people from around the world, as well as share my own thoughts here on the blog… and, of course, I’ll be sharing a few cartoons each week to hopefully keep you laughing along the way.

I look forward to sharing in this new format. Take a moment to subscribe via RSS or email. The links are in the sidebar. Also feel free to circle me up on google+ if you hang out there. Have a great day!

Blue skies,
Mick
